See if your EMPLOYER WILL MATCH Donations You Give!

SPONSOR a HOPE Packet, Survivor Scholarship & more.  Make an Individual Sponsorship Gift to support Ovar'coming Together programs. Simply click on "Special Donations" under Categories.

Set up a RECURRING GIFT PLAN.  Contact us to make arrangements.

PURCHASE AWARENESS PRODUCTS.  A variety of teal awareness products are available for purchase. Proceeds help support Ovar'coming Together's mission...and by using the products, you help spread awareness and spur conversations and interest for others to learn about ovarian cancer.

TIE GIVING TO a PERSONAL EVENT.  Having a birthday party, anniversary celebration or other special occasion?  Invite your guests to bring donations to the event in lieu of gifts!

HOLD A SPECIAL EVENT of your own.  Hold your own special event to raise funds AND awareness about ovarian cancer!  Event examples include golf outings, dinners, car washes, concession stands, hula hoop (or other) contests, ice cream socials, or most anything!  Contact us for support.

DONATE YOUR TIME OR TALENT.  A variety of volunteer opportunities are available. If are a business owner or have a special skills set, put your services to work to make a difference. For example, if you are a video company, create a short clip to help build awareness. If you are a women's salon, offer makeovers or other services free to survivors. If you are a lawn care service, offer to spruce up a survivor's lawn.
When you volunteer, you....

-Help Others

-Meet New People

-Support Something  You Believe In

-Give Back to Your  Community

-Gain a New  Perspective

-Know That You Are  Needed

SPONSOR AN EVENT!

HOLD A SPECIAL BUSINESS PROMOTION.  Many retailers donate a portion of proceeds to charities or hold special promotions. For example, advertise to your customers that if they buy a specific brand of hand cream during a certain week or month, you will donate a portion of the proceeds to support the cause. Ovar'coming Together is happy to help you share the promotion via eblasts and newsletters.

DONATE $1 FOR FACEBOOK "LIKES" MADE TO YOUR BUSINESS.  Give $1 for every ‘Like’ that your company gets on Facebook (during a specified period such as September, which is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month). Ovar'coming Together will help to spread the word about your business and your website. These types of campaigns have a viral effect and draw interest to your business' social media!

CONSIDER PLANNED GIVING. A planned gift is simply the process of making a charitable donation in a manner that can financially benefit both the donor and the institution receiving the gift. The most common examples are bequests (which are transfers of cash, securities, or other property through a will or a living trust) and gifts of stock. Click here for basic information about the various types of planned gifts, however, it is helpful and recommended that you speak to your personal financial advisor or an attorney to decide what assets to donate, when to make the donation, and where and how the assets should be transferred.
